I have been teaching guitar for about twenty years, and I offer lessons in person or remotely via Zoom. I have been giving Zoom lessons since the beginning of the Covid pandemic, and it works pretty well.
I am a very experienced guitarist, having played in all sorts of styles and groups over the past three decades, including classical, folk, blues, rock and traditional music. You can see some examples of my own playing on my Video page. I have a teaching diploma from the Associated Board of the Royal Schools of Music in London (DipABRSM).
My current fees (as of autumn 2024) are €22 per half-hour lesson. I take students from eight years old, but many of my students are in their sixties and seventies (you are never too old to learn a musical instrument!) Beginners are very welcome.
All you need to get started is a guitar and the determination to learn. Most of the work of learning an instrument is done in private daily practice, so you should be willing to find 20 minutes every day to practise in order to make progress.
If you are interested in taking lessons, just drop me a line via my Contact page, and we can arrange a free introductory meeting where we can discuss your objectives and make a plan. I look forward to helping you achieve your musical goals!
